So first of all i must let you know that both my parents were elite athletes, my father from bodybuilding to long distance running and my Mother a marathon runner. My sister and i have swum at a highly competitive level all our lives. We were gentically cursed/gifted with big calves. There is no fat on them whatsoever and every other day at the gym i will get asked (by guys) what my secret is. You can see every muscle in my calves but now i no longer compete i do NOT need them this big, as a 22 year old female i have issues with jeans and tight pants and my boyfriend is jealous of my legs. I am grateful its not fat and i have two legs to walk on dont get me wrong (please dont be mean) but i just want to get them slimmer and have been trying longe distance running. If anyone has any tips at all pleaase pleeeeease help me. squats, lunges etc are out of the question, i did them regularly for a week and couldnt get my jeans on. I want to stay toned (i work out everyday) but just want to half the size. My diet is also really healthy.
