Please comment on my HIIT technique

Hey all

I'm currently doing this 2-3 times a week on the treadmill.

3 mins warm up at 5mph

5 x (1 min at 12mph, 1 min at 4 mph)
5 x (1 min at 11mph, 1 min at 3 mph)

2 mins cool down at 2.5 mph

If it's relevant, I'm 27, weigh 135lbs

My target is to lose fat and tone up. Thanks! :)

Looking good so far! Are you interested in doing any resistance training. That will really help you lose some weight and tone up
 
Hey dloop - yup I'm doing resistance training three times a week on top of HIIT. Which is a better way to tone up- HIIT or Tabata?
 
They are kinda the same thing. I do not think one will be better than the other. You can certainly rotate on and off HIIT and Tabata.

What is your resistance training like?
