Please advise on order I should take my supplements

For lifting supplements I take BSN CellMass, BSN NO-xplode, and BSN Nitrix. I pretty much just follow the recommended dosage and timings on the labels and I'm fine with that. (Also I'm aware that most guys here think NO products are junk, but I do lift stronger with it, I like the pumps, and my girlfriend really likes the intimate benefits too....so it's worth it to me)

My question is with my health and wellness supplements. I take an omega complex, coral calcium, ZMA, physilium fiber (metamucil), GNC ultra mega multi, and whey protein. My question is in which order should I take these and what times of day? Should they be taken with meals, or on empty stomachs? Should I take them all at once, or separately? Any advice here would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Well like you already know, a lot of those BSN products are just hype. The NO Xplode is just a loooooooooooot of caffeine.

As for the real supplements your taking i take my Multi(i dont use all those others u refer to, multi is where its at) in the morning with breakfast. Whey protein......well, take that when ever you mind thinks about it. II take 2 servings before my work out, after my work out, before track practice, after practice so just when ever as long as you are staying in you calorie goal.

Prob not. Just make sure you start taking in a lot more water than you would normaly. Most vitamins are watter soliuable and when taking creatine(CellMass) and Whey watter helps the absorption IMO

That is an extensive list of suppliments and with your request on timing you might be looking into things too heavily, its not which suppliments you take or the time you take them...

N0-Xplode works great...

ok this should work for you:

3 NITRIX 30-45 minutes before breakfast empty stomach

1 Serving of NO-Xplode 30 minutes before workout

1 Serving of CellMass after working out

3 Nitrix 30-45 minutes before lunch empty stomach

*Ultra Mega Multi (with breakfast or lunch)

*Coral Calcium with after workout Meal

*ZMA at night time before bed.

*Omega Complex twice a day with food

--> The second serving of NITRIX depends on you, but try to keep it like 6 hours apart from the first serving.

That's more in depth than my supplement process for sure o_O

I just put a scoop of muscle milk (or whey protein), a tablespoon of flaxseed oil, a teaspoon of creatine, tablespoon of liquid amino acids, and a tablespoon of greens powder into a water based fruit smoothie. Blend and consume mid-morning maybe two or three times a week on my heaviest workout days. And if I'm burning when I get home I chew a creatine tablet or drink half a muscle milk. Oh and I take a natural food-based organic women's multi-vitamin every day.

But then, I'm not as hard-core as some people here by a loooong shot =P

WOW, all these supplements. Whole foods, clean diet right amount of calories, good exercise regimen and I think some of these supplements can be skipped. I don't even take a multi!!! I feel great. Am I missing something? Seriously?

No, you're not missing out :)

Probably not :p But with all my health problems things like the multi-vitamin and the greens powder are just making absolutely sure I get what I need every day. The rest is just kind of frivolous. Creatine does help with the muscle burn though... its my friend.

I completely understand that. Without glucosamine I'd probably be a pathetic Brad Pitt wannabe that would only train arms, abs and chest. Everything else I take I could drop in a second. :)

Evolution, are you wondering about my eating schedule? Wasn't sure who you were referring to. In case you were referring to me I eat 5-6 small meals a day. Whole, clean foods most of the time (I am human and cheat occassionally). I feel good and have very little to complain about. On the other hand I'm always eager to hear good nutritional advice!
