Plasmavol

I went to GNC today. i was talking to the guy there about two products Quick Mass and Plasmavol.. although after speaking with him i would never go with any of his advice its very obvious he is just saying what ever his commission says.. I looked at the Quick Mass calorie facts and it seems to have a lot in it.. many calories 1010.. and 56grams of protein which is good.. has anybody ever tried this to know if it actually does work? it says u will notice in 8 weeks although you can finish 1 jug in a week and the jug is 40$ lol

and for the Plasmavol has anybody ever tried this out?

wait, it has 56 grams of protein in the whole jug? that is only 224 calories worth of protein. what eles is in this stuff. sounds to me that whey's protein is a little more beneficial considering it's cheaper.

Per 4 Scoops (these scoops are massive)
Calories : 1010
Fat: 14g
Cholesterol:75mg
Protien 56g

costs 39.99 regular. w/ gold card=31.99

well, that's just an ordinary weight gainer...if you think injesting large quantities of sugar is right for your training...go for it.

plasmavol is nothing more than protein, with added sugar, for 3x the price as if you did it yourself.
dextrose is cheap...like 5lbs for 3-4 dollars.

or you can get bent over by GNC.

ive spoke to lots of guys that use this and they are just normal consumers and they say it works great.. are they wrong your saying or?

did they offer any evidence Jay?

you don't need a single damn supplement to build a body like a god...understand?
supplements are just a kind of food, nothing more...except the FDA doesn't regulate supplements, so the manufacturers can make bold claims with no research to back it up.

The guys at your gym succeeded because they knew what they needed to eat for calories, their macro ratios, and they trained properly with adequate rest between workouts.
If they'd eaten steak and an appropriate carb instead of plasmavol, their results would've been the same.
