Sport Planning out my calorie intake for diff workouts

Sport Fitness
let's say I do some weight lifting and HIIT. on the days I do HIIT , I will cut back my calorie intake by 300. on days I'm lifting , I will eat normally. Do you think will be a good way of eating? Or should I just eat normally regardless? my calorie intake is around 2000~2300 ( 145 lbs 5"6)

I would look more into carb cycling, keepign calories consistent.
bouncing calories around confuses the body, it doesn't know if its gonna have a regular deficit, or maintenance or what.

carb or calorie cycling maybe try below maintainance on off days, maintainence on HIIT days and a little above maintenance on wt days

carb cycling can be helpful to you. try it for a couple weeks and see if you show results.

as far as changing your caloric intake, its not a good idea to do this regularly. Your body likes to get into routines. Once it gets a "feel" for the amount of calories you are giving it, it will try to use them as efficiently as possible.

If you seem to be hitting a fat loss plateau it might be a good idea to change it up for a week to sorta pull the body out of the rut it may be in. Like eating at maintenance for a week. But this should not be something you do regularly.
