pill question

im 19 years old. Im about 5'8 153 lbs, and im looking to tone up in about a 4 week period before i leave for vacation. Is there any pills to help tone up? or would a diet pill along with a good diet and moderate exersize help tone a bit?

note: Im only looking to do this for 4 weeks in preperation for a vacation im going on.

well, in order to "tone up" you ought to do some cardio to lower your body fat (makes muscles more visible) incorporate some lifting as well. Not sure what state you are in now so I dont know if HIIT is necessary, but you could do some high rep lower weight exercises and alternate between cardio and lifting days.

Pills for losing fat eh?
Well I suppose if you NEED to you could use Thermos or some sort of ECA stack (ephedrine, caffeine, aspirin..) This of course is not necessary and I would only recommend that you use thermos if you reach a plateau and are unable to naturally lose the fat with cardio.

Watch what you eat as well.. Obviously loading up on junk is not recommended for lowering your body fat.

ive definatly been eating right, ive got a semi flat stomach with a little bit of flab in the middle and some love handles, but no definition or tone. Im extreamly new to this so I dont even know what HIIT is. I run occationally (not lately) and when I do its usually only 1 mile. I have some weights at home but hardly touch them (will starting today until my trip). And crunches I do on and off. I want to start crunches tonight im thinking somewhere between 200-400 a day if I can keep up with it. hopefully. Also going to do some pushups (as much as I can)

I figure if I could add in some sort of diet pill to boost it just for this 4 week plan until my vacation it would be helpful.

Toning is a product of increasing muscle mass, and reducing body fat to show off that muscle mass. Nothing more.

200-400 crunches a day is overkill. 3 sets of 20-30 reps, 2-3 times per week is sufficient. Beyond that, you need to shed body fat to show off the developed muscle.

And honestly, genetics play a huge role in it. some people have 4-packs., some have 6, others 8. Soem unlucky people have assymetrical abs...5-packs.

Some really unlucky people just don't have the genes for buldging abs at all, so they have to get extremely low bodyfat to see anything at all.

A fat burner with an appetite suppressant will help you drop a small amount of extra weight, but only if your diet is clean, correct, and you're doing some physical activity, be it sports, or cardio & weights at the gym.

I would say that judging by your height you are sitting at around 17% Usually the last place to lose your fat is the gut. You need to get cracking. Dont be hard on yourself if you are not a sculpted rippling monster in the time you have given yourself. you can lose weight and tone up a bit, but you have a ways to go before you are down around 8% which is where you would likely want to be to see muscle tone/abs etc..

I don't think he's up at 17%...probably more like 12-14%.

but what i do see an overall lack of muscularity. being 'soft' in the muscles isn't gonna make them pop out no matter how much fat you shed.
muscular definition is a direct result of weight training and fat reduction.
