Phentermine.

I have been prescribed Phentermine 37.5, and I just started taking it 3 days ago. I know it is a hunger suppressant and its supposed to make me not eat as much. But is it normal to not be hungry at all when you are taking it? I haven't really wanted to eat anything. In the 3 days I've been on it I have only eaten 2/3 of a hot pocket, 2 graham crackers, a candy bar, and a handful of grapes. And I haven't slept AT ALL since I started it.

Thats some powerful stuff. Drink at least 64 oz of water a day when taking any diet/weight loss pill. That will not help with your hunger issue, but that might help your sleep schedule and control your cravings for candy bars and and hot pockets. Eat fruit as well. These diet pills usually ends up draining nutrients out of you body faster - so put them back in with fruits and veggies.

Good luck and keep me posted on your progress!

Phentermine is essentially in the same family as Methamphetamine.
Its beyond 'just powerful'...its damn near dangerous.

Why would you take something to lose weight and still be eating garbage like candy bars and hot pockets? If you gave up that kind of crap and ate correctly you wouldn't need the drugs in the first place.

Good point. I completely skipped over that part because going on phentermine in the first place for any reason scared the bejesus outta me.

are you under DR's observation? 30mg is what i has seen done with monthly dr visit. Lots of water, and exercise. Use myfitnesspal to track calorie intake. You have to eat good foods and maintain your calorie intake to help start up your metabolism. after a week you will get used to it and your appetite will return somewhat and you should sleep better with exercise.

but all that would work to with out being on the pill.
