Personal Trainer with a weight-loss goal #survival

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcomes. I am new to the forum group and looking forward to learning from you and also answering any questions you might have. I am a personal trainer who needs to lose 30lbs. Yes I said it Personal Trainer. It frustrating for me yet humbling. Lots of great things have happened recently, but I have also had some challenges. Both triggered the weight gain. #thankyoufemalehormones.

To give you a quick recap: got engaged, got married, month long honeymoon in Philippines, conceived our first week on holiday (unexpected as I had an IUD), pregnancy turned ectopic, then ruptured Fallopian tube, turned emergency surgery. 30 pounds up in weight an here we are. FML what kind of example of a trainer am I. Oh right. Human!

I am here for support and I am here to support you. Exiting news! I am allowed to start lifting weights this week. Legs are sore AF. And cardio will pickup next week. 30 pound weight loss journey here we come.

What a lot of people fail to understand is trainers are human too. No matter how well trained, we have illnesses and injuries and shock horror we age. It is so common for people to judge a trainer on appearances rather than skill and experience.
