Sport peanuts

i have completely cut out peanuts as a snack. They are very calorically dense so even just a handfull could easily put you over your daily calorie intake. I myself would grab a handful everytime i was hungry and i was getting just too many calories.

Now i keep some cut-up celery and carrots around to snack on when im hungry. a lot less calories so i can snack and not take in so many calories

depends on the kind of peanuts you eat. dry roasted with extra salt...honey roasted...plain, unsalted, unroasted?

peanuts aren't bad as long as you don't load them up with salt or extra fats for roasting.

but, the ARE mostly fat, and while we do need fat in our diet, a small handful once per day is the most you should really have.

i get mine in the form of natural peanut butter, or almonds, since other nuts have better fat profiles than peanuts.

Well it depends on your goals, if you are watching calories then be careful with them. But they do have a good amount of good fats. I need a lot of calories so I eat nuts, including peanuts, pretty often.
