PC help. Developer tools keeps poping up. Please help.

Every time I click the letter P on my keyboard devloper tools keeps poping up in a new window. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Whilst searching on the internet to fix this problem somebody had said to do the following to fix the problem:

Add a DWORD value with the name "Disabled" to

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IEDevTools

and give it the value "1"

I tried this but it didn't work. Please can some one help me?

I'm usually pretty good at PC stuff, but that's something I have no idea about. Do you need the Developer Tools? Otherwise I would just try to de-install them, that might solve the problem.

That's the problem I don't know how to remove them.

Right, it seems to me that the developer tools aren't the problem. Do you have a function key (fn key) on your keyboard? And if so, is it pressed by any chance? Also, do you maybe have a spare keyboard you could try and see if it does the same thing? I am starting to think that it could be a keyboard issue.
