Hello

I am 39 yrs old, the mother of 2, a daughter 17 and a son 14. I have been married for alittle over 18yrs. Being a military spouse we have lived here there and everywhere.... from Va 3 times, Md, Fl, England and now Cali.

I hired a personal trainer 7/4/05 talk about an independance day lol....

I thought I was going to die... I was so sore for about 3 days....

my starting weight with him was 245...8 months later 199 and counting. Now with some help from WW...which I rejoined on 2/4/06.... I can do this....

Hey! Glad to see ya found the diary section. Most people will put down what they eat in a day and some add how many calories it is. It is helpful because others can make comments about where you might be able to improve, or they can get ideas from your diet. ;) It sometimes takes awhile for some to get around to your diary because there are so many people here, but a good way to get to know people is to post in other's diaries. You will get a lot of support here. I love it! Good luck! :D
 
Thanks for the tips.....

This am I had a weigh-in at WW...finally 199 rounded the 200 point and I dont plan on ever seeing it again! Was supposed to run a 10k this am but was diagnosed with strep throat late thurs eve., and didnt think running in the cold and rain would speed my recovery.... *sigh*....

so a typical eating day for me is usually....

breakfast: 3 egg whites, and 1 packet of oatmeal, plain with equal
snack: a slimfast shake
lunch: a salad with ff dressing, ham or some sort of protein
snack: sometimes a WW little cake that is 1point,cottage cheese, yogurt
dinner: just a typical dinner, smaller protein portion, veggies and a carb....

and lots of water......

I train mon weds and every other sat with my trainer....
and do cardio about 4 times a week.....

Well, you are obviously doing something right since you've lost so much weight. I am so looking forward to 199! Does putting the equal in your oatmeal make it easier to eat? I have such a hard time with it because of the texture.

I think it does help, atleast for me...what about cutting up your portion of fruit and adding it.... or maybe some cinnamon?

Thank you Elizabeth... I was so happy I wanted to cry... and scream at the same time....lol.

Tomorrow is my weighin.... hoping for a change even if slight since I lost 3.8 last week.

I made some porkchops... marinated in FF italian dressing, turned out good and even the kids ate it....lol big feat because they are picky sometimes, at 14 and 17.

Oh, I am getting so close to getting out of the 200's! I'm so excited about it! Hope you have a great weigh in tomorrow! :D
