Pain when running

Sorry if this question has been raised before, but it's my first time here. Not too long ago I got drafted and I'm August I'm joining the Norwegian army. This summer I've spent a decent number of hours working out more, and for once running. My height is normal, I have a reasonably well built body, but my thighs are somewhat big because I've been biking literally my whole life. Because I have hyperhydrosis (I sweat in buckets) I've rarely gone out to jog and run, but now I'm forcing myself to do it.

There's one problem though, after about 30 minutes my thighs are somewhat moist and when they (specifically the area slightly below my crotch) scratch into eachother for an extended period of time it gets quite painful - to the point where I don't really do it again for at least a couple of days.

My only strategy has been to suck it up and hope that the more I do it the harder the skin in that area becomes, thus making it less painful.

Any advice?

Wear something like biker shorts under your running cloths. The material is slick and will stop your legs from chaffing each other.
