Pain in wrists when doing bicep curls?

After watching video, I was inspired to return to my weight training routine that I abandoned almost a year ago.

However, I am frustrated that when I do bicep curls, it puts extreme fatigue on my wrists. I know I am not using a lot of weights because I can do more than the optimal reps (16 reps). Also, I make sure to keep my wrist in a neutral, locked position?

Is it normal to have pain in thw wrists when performing bicep curls? If not, how do I train myself to get rid of it?
 
its not normal to have pain with any lift. Try doing wrist curls both up and down see if that helps.
