I used to eat the 'Simply Asia' pad thai... it comes in a box with noodles and sauce, and you mix in whatever. I'd mix in Morningstar's fake chicken strips, about 1/2 an onion, 1/4-1/2 cup of crushed peanuts, one egg and a couple of herbs on top. It made a few servings.
This was NOT healthy. Those rice noodles will get you.
The stuff in the 'Simply Asia' box contained this info... maybe it'll give you an idea of what you had, not including the chicken or whatever else the restaurant threw in there:
150 grams (about 5.25oz) has:
390 calories
3g fat
- 1g sat. fat
580mg sodium
79g carbs
- 3g fiber
- 18g sugar
8g protein
All the other make-at-home brands had similar nutritional info... again, not sure if this really compares to restaurant-made food, but hopefully it'll give you a starting point.
I really love/miss Pad Thai. Perhaps in small amounts as a cheat it wouldn't be terrible... but there seem to be quite a few empty calories in there.
