I've been watching the infomercial on the P90X and it looks intriguing, still on the fence. But I'm wondering for anyone who has it, does it offer vegetarian advice for in their nutrition section. If I do smack down that much moola I want to jump in w/ both feet and be able to follow the whole program, but if it says daily to gobble up chicken and fish, it's not going to work for me.

(*even typing this, my *self* is saying duh, just follow a healthy veggi diet because any exercise is good exercise...lol)

TIA

the diet part of p90x doesn't matter if your diet is already good. your body does NOT care if you're eating p90x's diet or not. The idea that you can only eat these types of foods to get the most out of this workout is bunk. all the body knows is what kind of macro and micronutrients are coming in. so if the proteins, carbs and fats are coming from nutritional and good food choices in proper ratios and amounts, then you're golden. even if it doesn't follow p90x's breakdown.

i may have done a bad job trying to convey this, but i hope you're understanding what i'm trying to say. basically put, if your current diet is fine, then dont change it. the p90x diet is really just a guideline for people who have zero clue about food and just gives them something to follow, doesn't mean it's the way it has to be. and ignore that suppliment crap. supps are garbage, and are unneeded. p90x, like any business, is trying to make money, and will of course push supps as "works best with this program" or "for best results take blablabla". Ignore it, it's false. nothing beats real food.
