Is there such a thing as an unbiased opinion?
I have nothing in particular against shakeology, but when I look at the nutritional ingredients it has similar nutritional value to a multi-vitamin and only 3g of fiber and yet is claiming to be
40 servings of fruits and vegetables. With only 3g of fiber.
This is what I show from the dailyplate on the nutritional content of the shake.

The multivitamin seems to have more of everything except fiber. But 3g is a pittance - you can get twice that eating a bowl of weight control oatmeal.
Personally I'd rather go to TrueProtein and create a custom mix with more fiber and without the extra sugar and then add the vitamin supplement addon for similar effect. Well, except I just mix in real fruits & fiber at home and take a multi-vitamin.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it would be extremely difficult for me to eat 40 servings of fruits & vegetables and still only get 3g of fiber, and fiber is in fact one of the important things you get from fruit & veg.
When I see 3g of fiber and the claim of a huge number of fruit & veggie servings I think 'Dishonest hype' and it gives me a negative feeling toward the product. So yeah, I guess maybe I do have a biased opinion, but only because dishonest advertising tends to negatively bias me, and I feel '40 servings of fruits & vegetables in a glass' is pretty dishonest. Especially without any evidence that the vitamins are going to be more easily absorbed than me taking a multi-vitamin and having total control over the rest of my nutrition.
I can say that I have purchased unflavored whey protein isolate and it has without a doubt been the most versatile product I have found because I can then add whatever 'extras' I want to it, and it lets me customize to fit exactly my needs.
