Over-training?

First off, if this is in the wrong section please move it :)

I'm wondering if I am over-training. It doesn't feel like I am over-training, but I have similar symptoms

I usually go for a jog one day and push-ups, crunches etc the next day and alternate. I don't go to the gym or have equipment.

I have found this is the second time now this has happened. The first time I managed to jog 7.2km's twice on seperate days, then found I couldn't run a quarter of that the next time I ran. That was going back a few weeks now.
So I have slowly built back up and ran 7.2km's on Thursday evening, whilst building up push up reps/sets (I could do 4 sets of 20 push-ups with 1 min breaks).

Friday, I went to attempt my push-ups, did 3 sets of 20 push-ups then 10 and failed. I thought it might just be an off-day. So I went for a jog last night, gave up after running about 7 minutes (takes me roughly 40 mins to do 7.2km's). Come today, I JUST did 4 sets of 20 pushups, but didn't feel the same.

Wehn I first had a couple days break one time and came back to training, I did worse and thought having a break was bad, but maybe a days break is good?

I just didn't think I was doing enough to be over-training, but maybe I am? Can someone shed some light on this?

Thanks for any advice :)

Are eating correctly to support your workouts? You should be eating a protein and carb meal 1-2 hours before your workout so you have enough energy to make it through and then a protein and simple carb meal within 30 mins of completing your workout in order to re-fuel your muscles. If you are not eating right your body won't have the energy or strength to complete your workouts. Also, are you eating enough calories for your BMR? Also make sure you are drinking enough water. You might even want to drink a sports drink while you are jogging.
Your workouts don't sound like you would be over training at all so there must be something else wrong. You couldn't be suffering from chronic fatigue or something similar?
