over 40 supplements for female

Hi, new to the site and have looked around a little but haven't really found anything that addresses my question. First a little about me. I'm a 40 y.o. female and have lead a fairly sedetary lifestyle and I've gained some weight that I'm now trying to lose and I'm out of shape. I've just purchased an elliptical trainer and I intend to use once or twice daily and will be doing some callistinics (sp)? also. I'm trying to change our diet to. My question is what kind of supplements do you recommend that I take? Multivitiman, whey protien, and what else? I know better to use any of the "miracle" weight loss stuff. Thank you in advance for the answers, I know this will not be an overnight thing and will take a lot of work on my part.

Welcome to the boards... I'd suggest posting your food plan in detail, as that will help us forumites out with what needs to be supplemented.
