over 1000 calorie deficit unhealthy?

I am 20 yrs old, 6'4", 230lbs.

I am on a diet consisting of 1905 calories, 36g fat, 275 carbs, 119 protein. Today I had my 1900 calories but I felt super motivated to workout extra hard and estimated that I burned about 3600 calories(bout an hour of vigourus cardio/ body weight circuit training)

Is that high of a calorie defecit going to slow my metabolism or since im having a higher amount of calories will this big of a defecit not effect me negatively?

O and I dont plan on having this big of a defecit everyday it just happened to be that big today. I shoot for 1000.

Remember that a calorie is just a unit of heat. calorie deprivation WILL teach your body to gain fat faster in the future. If you do not have the enerygy available from your food when your body needs it your body still has to run....So it has to get it from somewhere. It will break apart muscle tissue and use that for fuel.

Muscle is your metabolism and if you reduce your muscle mass by exercising beyond your body's capacity to supply fuel you slow your metabolism. With a slower metabolism your body will store more energy (food) as fat because it thinks you are starving.

The key is to not worry about calories and eat a supportive meal every 3-3.5 hours. Why 3-3.5 hours? well everyone with a baby knows that they wake up every 3 hours no matter what time it is to be fed. that is our genetic disposition and we train ourselves out of it as we grow older. Eat until you are full and do it again in 3 hours. If you are not hungry in 3 hours that means you ate too much...And if you are hungry in less than 3 hours that means you didn't eat enough.

You are the CREATOR of your metabolism not the victim.

Nah you are doing fine, heck you can go without food for a day if need be. The thing with calorie deficet is that its a rolling average rather than a daily instant thing. Which is why you can diet for a while before loosing weight or binge without gaining ... it all catches up eventually.

I lived on 1200 calories for some time dropping the weight, which probably wasnt the smartest move in the book, but it had the desired result, though learning maintance was a little harder.

Remember, if you are sick, you dont feel like eating, so you dont, thats just natural occasionally to have low calories, it doesnt do any long term harm.
