Out of whey/what 2 do

I ran out of Whey Protein and should get a new tub soon through mail. 4 days have gone by without lifting weights, because I don't have anything to take after my workout. Just wondering if I should continue to wait, because isn't it crucial to have the drink right after, because of course food will be too slow to absorb. I just don't want the few days off to affect me. Any ideas is appreciated. Thanx
 
Whey isn't required, get back in the gym.
 
Yeah as Hoss said, whey is just a supplement to whole food its not the be all and end all. Look at LV's Grocery List for a list of whole food sources of protein. You shouldn't get to the point where you are frozen scared to go to the gym because your whey ran out.
 
This is one of those times where I'd say "go ahead and buy the pre-made Muscle Milk shake (or similar product) if your gym sells them.
Or, get a quart of chocolate skim milk and drink that post-workout.
