Sport Only Whey?

He can lose weight, a lot of it will be water due to the lack of carbs. With a nil fiber intake he risks colon problems, especially if he is older, not to mention the fact that fiber helps you lose weight. He may drop a significant amount of weight, most water, some fat, and muscle. On top of losing things you work so hard to get, it's not healthy.

It's not healthy, oh wait mreik said that. The largest part that sticks out to me is the stress it would put on your kidneys to get all of your protein intake from whey, I should double check where I've read that.

Well he would have no fule. no carbs or fat. so there is nothing to break down to use as fule. He would simply die.

Also no fiber so he'll be squirting thru the eye of a needle!!!

I say just let him get on with it. With no solid food after 2 days he'll be so so hungry and wont have the energy to keep running to the loo that he'll stop being so stupid.

If he is a healthy guy, just let him do it. Then he will understand why its so very very wrong.

If he is set on doing this, search tnation for the velocity diet. It's very similar but calls for supplementation of a few more things, along with a low calorie MRP mixed in with a whey.

A few articles show that whey can only be digested 23g at a time.. So any more would be useless. NOTE: I said whey, not protein (noobsters)

Ah yes, velocity diet. I had almost forgotten, there are a few articles on t-nation about it, but it talks about supplements as well. BCAA's, creatine, a multi-v, and others are all a part of it...if I remember correctly.
