Had a baby in mid December, gained over 70 pounds while I was pregnant.... was over 260 when I went in the hospital, dropped down to 230 by the time I was out of the hospital, now I am 201 pounds..... I am 6'1 with a large frame, so my ideal weight is about 175. I am just guessing with that, but I will weigh 175 by my birthday (9/15). If I feel like I am not lean enough then, I will try to lose another 10 pounds.

So here is my journal. I am visiting family right now and out of my normal routine. I have been doing lots of cardio and exercises. Not gotten back into weightlifting yet, but have been doing strength exercises. I have been eating well, whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, veggies, skim milk.

I cannot wait to get back to ONEDERLAND. That will be amazing. I have these special numbers that will be exciting. 199, 190, 185, 180, 175. Those are my mini-goals and then finally my milestone of 175.

If you have made it this far, thank you so much. I am breastfeeding my daughter, so I really need to take advantage of the 500 calories that BFing burns a day.

Ta Ta for now...off to start my squats, lunges, crunches and pushups....

thanks for the support ladies!!! I'm out of town for the weekend and eating well... no scale around so I am not obssessively weighing myself...but will update my weight Monday morning....

well, down to 199.... that was my first mini goal and it was by June 15 and I made it a week before I said I would.

I have been doing really well... need to update my ticker on my 500 goals...

It seems like when you do well, there isn't THAT much to write about.

I am hoping to be down to 195 within two weeks.... if not sooner.

I want to do the rice diet for about two weeks and see if that will get me down to 190ish. I tried it before but I ate my whole meals all @ once and that left me starving.... Now I know that I can eat my whole wheat and then eat a fruit a couple hours later.
