Hello everyone,

I am new here and hope this is the correct area for this post. I have read that losing small amounts of weight are best. I am trying to lose 23 pounds before summer. I figure if I lose 1 lb a week I should be able to do it. I am looking for others to do it with me. Come people I am sure most of us can lose 1 pound a week for a total of 4 pounds per month.

Hi. I'm in as well. I want to lose 20 - 25 lbs. Just had baby #4 (9mos ago) and get lose this weight. Should we post our exercises, diets etc? What's the plan. Talk to you soon. Talie

Hello Everyone,

Yes we should post weigh ins once a week to be sure everyone is on track with losing 1 lb per week. Also any Ecercises, recipes etc that you have done to help others get ideas & motivation to continue with their goals. As of today I weighed 151.0 and So far I have had:
Breakfast:
1 serving of Shredded wheat bite size cereal with 1 cup of 1% milk and 1/2 of a banana

Snack:
1/2 of an orange

I did a 20 mminute Cadio workout this morning before eatting or drinking anything. Will do another workout later today. Will post again later today.

Hello i would like to join with yall if you dont mind. My name is Heather and I live in Texas. I have been losing weight for about a year now but it keeps coming back. This year when i wear my bathing suit i dont want to have to wear a wrap. My workouts are with the video Turbo Jam. (which i love). I eat pretty simple stuff.. except on the weekends ;) which i know is where i need to stop. For breakfest i have cereal lunch i normally have a salad and then i have some kind of protein for dinner... I have some great ways to cook fish if anyone is interested. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE i start working out tonight and hopefully can stick with it finally...

I have been losing weight for almost 3 months now and it's been up and down but averaged out at about a lb a week... slow and steady is a good way to do it :) although after the New Year I feel I want to work harder and maybe lose a little bit quicker as I have a long way to go and could be doing more.... so I wont join this challenge, but good luck to you all. :)
 
Good Afternoon all my challengers,

How is everyone doing today? Has everyone had a healthy breakfast & lunch? I have 1 serving of Shredded Wheat Cereal with 1 cup of 1% milk for breakfast
A medium size salad with pepper jack cheese for lunch
6 crackers with peanut butter for a snack.
I did a 20 minute cardio workout this Am and will do another 30 minutes of some kind of workout after dinner.

Dinner I am having Chili made with Turkey hamburg.

Come on people let push ourselves to lose that one pound this week. I know we all can do it if we set our minds to it.

Today's weight is 239lbs.

Breakfast:
Lean Crunch Cereal with skim milk
Lunch:
Bowl of Turkey Chilli
Dinner:
Cheeseburger on wheat bread
After workout:
Protein Shake
Snack:
Couple tablespoons of Pecans

Workout:
3.1 mile run in 29:19
20 weight assisted pullups
2 sets of lat pulldowns

I've been just maintaining my weight for the past 3 weeks and am ready to push the envelope again (tough to do with the holidays, but do able none the less) Good Luck everyone!!

I didn't see a weigh in day, what day are we going to post weight?
 
My weigh in day if Friday. Each person probably has a different day but most people should have posted a weight by Sunday once a week. This way no one has to change their days.
Hope this helps.
Keep going everyone... Give yourself that little extra push.... Think of how nice it will be to wear those smaller clothes this summer.

i would like to join too if it is alright! i am new to this site.
i just had baby number four four months ago.

I did thirty minutes of boot camp workout tonight.

i ate veggie soup for dinner. skipped breakfast and had a piece of baked salmon for lunch.
 
okay everyone it's been just about one week. Lets not forget to do our weigh ins this weekend. Christmas is right around the corner and we want to stay on track.
I did cardio every morning for 15-20 mins.
Have shredded wheat & banana for breakfast
Lunch was either salad, Bean burrito, or turkey sandwich with mustard.
Dinners were:
Fish, chicken, chili, Salmon patties, with rice, salads, or just veggies.

I had apples and oranges for snacks.
I didn't get as much water as I should this week, but I will tgry harder next week.

Also each night I did 30-45 of either Cardio or strenght training alternating every other day.

Since its night out today I may do a walk tonight.

Heather can you please send me those Fish ideas?

Hi everyone.

Ok sorry i have been out of town so i have not replied... i wish this sent emails when someone replies. I have not weighed myself this week(last week was 165.3)BUT i did join a gym yesterday and i start today.(*plus monthly friend is here) My boyfriend is out of town so i have been trying to watch what i eat so when he gets home i look good...Hopefully the workouts will help too... Lets see fish ideas. I like talipia I dont know if i spelt that right... here is the recepie. i take iltain dressing and maraniade the fish in it usually use the same pan i am going to bake it in.If i have time i will do it for about 30mins sometimes i just throw it on there and in the oven it goes) Now the dressing i just read labels till i find something that has what i am looking for and not to many bad things for you. i change it all the time to give new tries have not found the perfect one yet. then i slice onions and put them on top of the fish. then i bake it all on 350 for about 15 mins (once the fish is white usually its done) then after that i put tomatoes on top of it. thats how i do my talipia :) next week i will have something else.. Oh i dont know if you know about pampered chef, they have a great cookbooks. there is one called its good for you that gives alot of ideas with low calories. Anywho i have to get back to work. I weigh myself all week long usually just to see so i am not to sure what day will be mine. Anywho hope everyone is having a good holiday

Hi all ok i fell off the wagon... lol i kept working out but when bf got home he had put on some weight from moms cooking and we kinda got off track. I am back to watching what i eat and decided to start writing down what i eat to see what i actually eat. i hope everyone is doing great on there journey. sorry i have not been on recently work had me crazy and i didnt have a computer at home. now i do :) anywho i have another recipe for salmon that i am trying tonight.. simple to make and great to eat from what i heard. i will let you know tomorrow. good luck everyone
