Is that American for Kebab? If so then it's not only romantic but a very healthy way of cooking meat. Even if your date sucks you won't have screwed up your diet!

Well, the first one is right out only because I tend to hate nice restaurants. :eek:

The second choice would work for me only in situations where I already know the guy and we're perhaps well along in the relationship. If it's a first-encounter kind of get-together, no way would I want him to cook for me because there'd be too much pressure and emphasis on the intimacy of being in his place. :eek:

Perfect scenario for me all around: have an informal meal, go to a bookstore or museum, take a long walk. :)
 
Both choices are nice, especially because I'd love to have a man who can cook...but I always have tons [more] fun going out and fine dining.
 
I think it depends on which date it is.

First date - go out
Second or so date - cook at some point (it shows a romantic side, and the ability to cook which is sexy).
 
lets see, well i agree it depends on the person. but, i used to love it when my hubby (boyfriend at the time) took me out to eat. to me it didn't have to be a fancy restaurant, but just the niceness of him taking me out. now that we're married, i love it when he cooks for me!! hope that helps in some way. but, like i said it all depends on the girl.
 
ITA, I think it would depend on the person and on the date. If it's a first date, NO WAY would I want to be alone in the guy's house. 2nd or later, cook for me, honey! Esp if it's something Italina. OMG...talk about hot...Hot...HOT!!
