i find it annoying that it is so hard to get a new max on this exercise yet getting more reps at a"slightly" lower weight is much easier. for example my max is 35kg but today i got 30kg for 11 reps on each arm with few rest breaks. i thought maybe its my leg drive thats the problem. i havent maxed out on back squats but last week i only got 67kg x 8, which is roughly the same as my front squat. i know my squat is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
 
raise your squat to 100kg x5. see what happens to all your other lifts. :]
