Old athlete!

Hey Guys!

Im Alwyn Kotze, and new here(hence the post count :p). This last december holiday we wont on an overland trip through the southern part of africa, living outdoors for about a month! It was awesome and all(you should try it!) but since it was in vehicles and very hot outside I was unable to do any excersise, not to mention the 3 months of exams before that. Excuses or not, I did not work out. Im an 200m/400m athlete and I study very hard now so I cannot attend track training. I have a well built body, covered by fat, hiding what I am.

Most of my fat sits on my upper legs, basically all of it, leaving me looking like a pear. I was standing in the gym the other day looking at the treadmill next to the spin-bike, next to the normal bike, overlooking the swimmingpool and was pondering. What should I set myself to, to lose that upperleg fat?

I know theres alot of posts about weight-loss, but Im fine with my weight, im 184cm tall weighing in at 78kg's with 16% body fat (the previous reading on my profile says 8% body fat. I doubled it!:bncry:

If theres anyone with experience on this problem of mine, please, HELP!

I dont want to look like a pear with a big bottom, I've seen people laugh at me :(

You can't spot reduce fat in specific places. Fat gain and loss occur in places and patterns that you are genetically predisposed to gaining or losing fat.

So just concentrate on losing fat (through exercise and careful eating) and it will come off in the reverse order that it was added.
