I think I have stumbled upon something really interesting here.. It feels like I can finally accept who I am and I can lose those adamant pounds afterall.. Okay, let's start here.. I am 5'11 ft or 180 cm tall.. My age is 26.. My weight is appx 200 pounds or 90.75 kg.. My target weight is around 75 kg or 165 Pounds.. I have recently (3rd day today) started 16/8 intermittent fasting and to be honest I haven't lost any weight but I am feeling difference in my mood and energy levels.. I feel like I can do a lot more things now.. First night I felt difficulty sleeping because of head ache but that is obvious because my body is just responding to new routine.. 2nd night I didn't had head ache and I felt much lighter from inside even though my weight was still the same.. I started drinking more water and noticed my hunger was just for water but I still used to binge eat.. Well here's a new start and I think this diary will really help me a lot.. I really appreciate the website developers to design a website to help people like me.. Okay.. I took the first step today and will keep updating my day and activities here..

Welcome to the forum, CK.
IF seems to be a great way of losing fat, even if the weight doesn't necessarily drop off straight away. I found I couldn't do it because of my BP meds as it made me very dizzy while fasting but I will give it another try after seeing my cardio & hopefully getting the ok.
You sound very positive & having acceptance of who you are is a great way to start out making changes. It's much harder if you have a negative mindset.
I assumed you are male because you are so tall, but that may not be right. What is your main focus? To become slim & fit? Are you physically active? Having youth on your side you are able to make healthy choices now that will impact your health for the rest of your life. Go, you!

Welcome to the forum. I agree with what cate said. What is your plan of attack in addition to the Intermittent fasting ?

Yes, I am male, sorry I forgot to mention it in my post.. I am mildly exercising in the morning for example plank and push ups but that's when I am at end of my IF because I have heard it's more effective to lose fat during end of your fasting as it burns more fat.. I have been browsing and studying IF from different sources and doing what really makes sense scientifically.. I am currently having good breakfast at around 9am but haven't shifted to low carb yet because I don't know how my body will react to all these changes if I make them all of a sudden.. I have dinner around 5pm and then fast till morning again.. In the evening around 7pm I play Table tennis for a hour and half.. that I have been doing since 3 months now.. Trying to stay positive and active that's all.. I thank you for your reply and it makes me more motivated to do better..

Thank you for your reply and welcoming me to the forum.. I have replied to Cate post regarding my current activities.. I am sure they are not enough to burn more calories than expected but I am motivated to make more changes in my life and schedule.. Well I am doing my Master's now, so I have college during most of the day time.. Most of my work is while sitting, I wish to find a solution to my laziness..

Also guys please pardon my English, I am not a native speaker.. I wouldn't mind if you correct me in language too..
