Welcome, and def. look around! For starters, you need to realize that the physical act of exercise is the easy part. The nutrition is the hard part, for most anyways. It seems that you are an extreme ectomorph, which means you are very thin with very small joints, probably have long limbs too, right?
Your nutrition is so key, simply because if you want to gain muscle, you need to eat more calories then you burn each day. And this "calorie surplus" must be comprised of healthy foods or you are only going to gain fat.
In my years of training, the individuals who wished to get bigger, most have a very hard time actually eating enough.
Personally, when I started weight training way back when, I was very thin. Just so you know, when I am bulking, or putting size on, I can be eating 4000+ calories each day! Those calories might be consumed in 6 or 7 meals each day. Until you get used to it, it feels like your life revolves around eating! And even after you are used to it, you just accept the fact that your life does revolve around eating, every 2 to 3 hours!
Not trying to scare ya off, just want you to realize that getting bigger is no easy task, like many marketers and advertisers would like you to believe. It takes a lot of time, hard work and dedication. However, it is def. doable, so if you REALLY want it, go for it..... and I am sure you will finds tons of help here.
And a tid bit about weight training. I have found that with ectomorphs, less is more in the gym. Overtraining is an epidemic nowadays in the gyms across America, especially for the natural lifter. Many of us are following routines that have passed down through the ages and generations. We don't pay attention that many of these routines are only suitable for the steroid supplemented lifter.
Good luck.
