I've recently started exercising quite a bit after a while of almost complete inactivity. I believe as a result I've been sleeping quite a lot. For instance last weekend I got a total of about 23 hours. 12 hours friday night and 11 hours on saturday night. This has been fairly consistent through out the last 2 months.
I figure, the increased sleep would be pretty reasonable, but this is somewhat extreme. Although I have started exercising I have not augmented my diet in any way. Should I consult a professional, and if so who?
Any tips and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I enjoy the exercise (it's a martial arts class) but I dont want to be sleeping half of my life.
