I have the working out part down but I get so frustrated on my food intake so I think I am going to try NutriSystem for a month. Has anyone ever tried thier program?

Why are you getting frustrated on your food intake?

you should really get that under control, as you'll need it for the rest of your life, rather than relying in an expensive overly processed short term non-fix..

I have heard of a few people doing it but they could not maintain the weight after they quit. I have a friend now who is trying it because she's frustrated as well but I'm worried its not going to work for her.

Honestly I've heard good things about Nutrisystem, and considered it myself, but it's hard to be on any kind of plan that requires you eat at home by yourself all the time (it's hard to split a nutrasystem brownie)

I went to their website and looked at the ingredients of the food. That crap is nasty. Its not even food. It has partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup and tons of other crap in everything!! Gross. You could get that at burger king, haha. I definately wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Even lean cuisine has better ingredients.

I did Nutrisystems with my mom for a couple of months and I liked it. She wasnt a fan of the food because 1) its expensive and 2) you eat the same stuff every week due to the limited selection of food. We both lost weight (though I wont say its because of nutrisystems because we worked out a lot) and saw results. My personal choice is to just moderate and watch what you eat. I see no problem with going out to a restaurant and getting a burger as long as you know how much of it you should eat and counter balance it with excercise.

Hmm..I never did it, but they probably have a lot of sodium and preservatives which will bloat you. Also the commercials say results not typical. It seems a lot like a fad, just like jenny craig...I dunno i don't trust them. Maybe take a weight watchers class and learn what's good and easy to do?

I don't trust them either. I found their website to be very misleading.
