Hi, I was wondering if any one has any experience with nutrisystem? I was thinking of trying it but I want to see if it has worked for anyone here.Or if any one has any better (and less expensive) diet plans/programs that work well please let me know!

I did NutriSystem many years ago and it does work, but there's no margin for error (unless it changed since). You can't eat anything but their food and that makes things very hard especially around the holidays and from what I remember it was expensive. I didn't stay on it long. Thankfully they did return some of my money.

Im on Nutrisystem right now, its working out great. You have to add some Stuff to their pre packaged food, like salad, vegetables, bread, etc. Its a good system, if you stick to it you'll see results.

I tried it

I tried Nutrisystem and, while the program will make you lose weight if you follow it exactly, I think there are much better options. For one, it's pretty expensive for what you get. Secondly, the food is not very good at all--and I am by no means a picky eater! It is "dead" food--so overly processed that it tastes artificial, sometimes almost sickeningly so. The texture is all the same--mush--and the portion sizes are tiny. Granted, you are supposed to supplement with your own fruits and veggies, but then the program becomes even more expensive. In other words, their food doesn't help you lose weight because it's so especially healthy or low-calorie, it helps you lose weight because the portions are so small. You can eat anything in tiny portions and lose weight. So what you are really paying for is their portion controlling for you. I say, get some healthy or diet cookbooks are use those, or if you need portions controlled more strictly, buy frozen meals (SmartOnes, Lean Cuisine, etc.) and supplement them with fresh veggies and fruit. It won't cost much if anything more and it will be MUCH tastier and, more importantly, healthier.

I have also heard that the food is not that great. You'd be better off to buy some lean cuisines or smart ones. And it would be a lot cheaper.
