Sport Nut Butter varieties

Don't get me wrong, I love peanut butter, it is probably my favorite food, but I can't help to be a little curious to what else is out there. I love almost all nuts, and I was wondering how other nut butters, such as cashew, almonds, etc. taste.

Try em out. I have, peanut butter is still my favorite, but they are good. Cashews are kinda sweet to me, so the cashew butter is a sweet and salty taste, pretty good. Almond butter is unique too.

Yeah its funny because peanuts are my least favorite nut, but I love peanut butter. I just wonder if it will be the other way around for almonds and cashews, because i love both of them

I love peanut butter too, but cashew butter is awesome. The stuff I get is natural with just cashews and salt, but it so sweet tasting - something like caramel. I honestly have to be careful when I buy it that I don't overdo it. I eat it straight out of the jar. As for almond butter, when I first tried it I didn't like it at all. It sat in my fridge for a month, then I stuck a dried apricot into it and that combination is out of this world. Now I go through a jar a month to dip the apricots in. Cashew butter is about 2x the price of peanut butter and Almond butter is 5x the price, so although I always keep them around, they are more of a treat while PB is the staple. Another good butter is Tahini butter, which is more savory. I will say that the nut butter brand I get is locally made and tastes awesome - it completely blows the doors off the stuff I tried in the States. I do believe whole fods imports it though, if they do you should try it. Here's a link:

I've had the same jar of almond butter in the fridge for something like 6 months. It's fine and will do in a pinch but it's a little bland to me.
