Hi ... this is my first post here and I love the idea of having a space to write about what is going on in my constant weight loss battle . It does feel like a never-ending war . I have been overweight most of my life . I was 172 cm / 105 kilos when I was 13 , and although I have had periods of relative thinness , I have never been able to hold my goal of 70k for longer than a few months .
Well this is it . I am on a mission . I started this April and I weighed 98 kilos . I am down to 84.5 as of last weigh-in ans have a goal of 70 ... But I am stuck / The scale hasn't budged from that 84.5 mark in almost 3 weeks . And you know, in stead of redoubling my efforts , I got discouraged and went on a diet-vacation . Thankfully with summertime here , a trip to the beach , and increased activity working as a painter in my studio I have not gained . AMAZINGLY .
I refuse to give in to this plateau however . Fall is coming fast and I tend to gain a few in the colder weather and through the holidays . I am stepping up now to make sure next summer I am still on track and I will finally wear a bikini again . ( I know 70 kilos sounds heavy for a bikini body , but my frame is extra large and I tend to take on muscle mass easily so I have looked fantastic at this weight in the past.)
So , I know this is a just a beginning again for me , but I am really looking forward to reading other's thoughts and accomplishmets for inspiration and I am so happy I have found this forum .
