NOx

Has anyone taken NOx? Is it any good? I am currently bulking and I work a graveyard shift while my fiance is a daywalker...So flip flopping between a night life and a day life often leaves me feeling sluggish while I lift...I heard this stuff is good for energy but I don't want to add any (or at least not too many) calories in my diet as I need the cals from the food I eat and only want a SMALL surplus in my diet (since I worked my butt off getting down to 9% bf)...Advice??

no one has any input on this stuff at all?

do a search. you'll see that NO products are called that because they are NO GOOD for your training.

yeah, they help muscles engorge with blood. That doesn't DO ANYTHING USEFUL, and some studies have found NO supplements to cause problems with natural HGH production. Lame.

it is useful for putting the lead in your pencil... look at ANY of those 'make your ^^^^ bigger' pills and you'll find a form of NO (arginine or its variants) as one of the primary ingredients.

otherwise its an artificial pump that serves no useful purpose.

my own opinion regarding NO supplementation is that they are extremely useful as a vasodilater thereby aiding in added bloodflow to soft tissue structures not only during but also after your workout during the reparative stage. they are now doing studies on patients with cardiac and diabetic disorders since they generally have vascular comprimise. as always, a product from a reputable company is essential.

Except that most NO supplements don't have L-cutrilline which is pretty much needed for the "pump". The pump which is very short lived. Essentially=a waste of money.

it's actually spelled citrulline. and by adding citrulline to exhisting NO you're simply adding more nitric oxide. citrulline gets converted to L-arginine which in turn gets converted to NO. it is definitely a short term "pump", but can most certainly enhance musclular efficiency during exercise. anything you can do to increase vascular flow to a muscle being worked is advantageous. we don't want a sustained/increased NO level due to potential tissue toxicity and septic shock. NO from a good company is a great nutritional adjunct, among other things, to exercise. respectfully submitted - thanks for reading!

If you're going to correct someone on spelling, perhaps you should check your own posts for mistakes first.

sorry evolution - wasn't intended to offend. just wanted to get the spelling of citrulline out there in case someone wanted to check into it.
