Sport Nothing to eat

Sport Fitness
Alright, i was just wondering how on earth it's possible to eat enough in order to gain muscle mass. It's said that 6-8 meals per day is the best. Not only this, the food you eat has to have a lot of proteins and carbohydrates.

So my problem is, firstly, that i'm very lazy when it comes to cooking food. If im hungry, i usually just warm something in the microwave, or cook pasta, that's all the effort im ready to do to fill my stomach. So, my question is, are there any of these cheap, easy-to-do meals that have the required ingredients for gaining muscles out there?

Secondly, how should i ever be able to eat so often? Since i go to school every weekday, and at some weekdays i'll go out with friends or go to work on the evening, i wont have enough time for eating. First breakfast, then lunch in school, school ends at 4, then dinner at half past 5 (after workout), and finally maybe some sandwiches before i go to sleep. That's 4 meals per day, which isn't enough. Not only this, the lunch in school doesn't probably meet my needs for proteins and carbs. So, is 4 meals a day enough to gain weight? Any ideas how to solve this?

cheers

Who said this? You should have protein, fat and carbs, and a diet designed to gain muscle may have more carbs than one designed to lose fat, but "a lot" is relative to the individual.

These are excuses. How do you expect to make any gains whatsoever if you aren't willing to put the work in for those gains? You need to make time. I am a full time graduate student and I work nearly full time. I find the time.

Why isn't it? There's nothing magical about eating 5 or 6 times/day. If you can only eat 4 times/day, then you eat 4 times/day, and each meal will be larger than had you been eating 6 times. I rarely eat 6 times/day: it's impracticle for most days.

Do they only serve lard there? I find it hard to believe that you can't find protein and carbohydrate dishes in your cafeteria. If the food truly is that bad, bring lunch to school. Life isn't going to be tailor-made for you to breeze through: sometimes you're going to have to make compromises and change your behaviors to achieve your goals.

Very true.

Everyone has a million and one reasons why exercise and proper nutrition are difficult. We have to find a way to make it work. Obviously, in the real world, we can't always do as good as we would like to in terms of diet/exercise, but we have to make an effort anyway.

If it were easy, we wouldn't have anything to be proud of when we accomplished our goals.
