not sure which way to go.. help please?

basically i want to bulk up as im quite skinny..

but i also wanna get a six pack and by doing that i want to lose some weight off my stomach etc

so in the end i wanna be quite big, (but not huge like a bodybuilder as im quite small) but still toned, with a six pack etc

so what way should i go about it? should i start cardio to lose the weight to get the six pack, whilst still doing weights.. and then once ive achieved decent abs ill bulk up?

Depend on just how much fat you've got on you. If you've got more than 15% bodyfat, probably cut first. If less, bulk first.

Don't worry about getting too big. It'll never happen, because once you reach a size where you don't want to get bigger, you'll reduce calorie intake and either maintain or cut, and then your goals will probably change a bit, anyway.
 
im around 6-8% body fat, so you think i should just bulk up straight away?

but what about me getting a six pack though?
 
If you're really 6-8% and don't have a defined 6-pack, then no amount of cutting will get your there at this point in time. You need to build more muscle. No amount of cutting will show what isn't there. Get bigger and stronger. Pack on 20-30lb, then cut again.
