Sport Normal peanut butter

Sport Fitness
I want to gain alot more muscle mass and to do this i need to eat healthly fats and exercise well and eat lots of carbs and proein. For healthly fats what should i eat. And i know natural peanut butter is really good but what about normal kraft peanut butter. Does that have lots of healthy fats in it to?

Probably. But not a significant amount to where you would want to eat it over anything else. Some peanut butters are "natural" but still have the same amount, if not more, sugars/sat fats. And the processed stuff is still bad. I would consume peanut butter moderately, and would definately not use it as a staple to get my good fats.

When you look at the label, look for mono-, poly-unsaturated fats over saturated fat.

Sources of these would be fish, olive oil, and raw nuts/seeds. But that's certainly not all.

All natural PB
flax oil
fish oil
udos oil
almonds
real cheese (limited)
avacado

The list goes on.....

Regular PB has trans fats. They put a small amount (less than 1g) so they don't have to show it on the Nutrition Facts label, but it's in there. If you look in the ingredients, they list Partially Hydrogenated oil. That's a trans fat. Also, they add sugar, which is so unnecessary. Try Natural PB, it's really quite good. Smucker's makes some that's available in almost every store around here. A natural PB will have just 2 ingrediants: peanuts and salt.

HTH!

try raw almond butter too.

Make sure the only ingredients are almonds nothing else.

PB is not as good as almond butter from a nutritional standpoint but if you buy it the same rule applies the only ingredient should be peanuts. No added anything else.

My PB has palm oil, its a wholenut one and is exactly the same as a 'health' foods one i also found but branded Tesco. It has peanuts, palm oil and salt, that ok?

we're a little in the dark about pb in the uk, its still not a commonly eaten food.

NO! palm oil is not good for you...very high in saturated fat and cholesterol as I recall.

natty peanut butter sometimes contains a little salt, and that's ok in my book because a typical clean diet has room for the small amount of salt in natty pb. is people eating processed foods, which can contain 60% of your daily sodium intake per serving, that need to keep tabs on sodium intake.

I eat Smuckers all natural peanut butter and it has 2 ingredients: penuts, salt. It says specifically on the label "made without hydrogenated oils" "0 grams trans fatty acids"

Eat up.
