nonfat only with protien??

I just recieved Natural Pro Complex, which is a protein supplement and a shaker for adding it into drinks. Now normaly I add my protein powder to 2% milk, but I noticed on the jug of Natural Pro Complex it said to add to nonfat milk or another drink. Is there a reason to this? Or just because nonfat milk is more/less healthier for you.

Thank you

Hardly think it would matter that much. There is the idea that fat will slow down the digestion, making the protein release more slowly, which is not something you want if it's for PWO. but 2% vs no fat milk.. I don't really think it's something to get hung up on.

I've found that its easier to hand shake my nitrean powder into a non-fat milk as opposed to the occasional use of 2% milk...maybe that's their concern.

Exactly what Karky said. By adding fat to fast acting protein, it will be absorb slower. They probably suggested non-fat as it will add more protein into the shake + some carbs.

Use water and a packet of spenda if you're worried about calories. It tastes great.
