Non-Weight Excercises

what would be the best excercises for a total workout without using any weights?

A 'Home Workout' as such with no weights or weight equipment.
 
I assume you mean for resistance or "Weight" training... because for a total body workout you need cadio as well as the weights. And for the cardio part - well, go running ;-)

Now, for the "weight" training, there are all sorts of things you can do. Buckets filled with water or sand make great substitutes for dumbells. Or you could go find a tree and do your pull ups. Why not look at situps and pushups as well. Or lunges (holding something heavy if you can). Any of these things will help with your resistance training if you don't have any equipment. Just make sure to work out every major muscle group as though you had the equipment and you will be fine!
 
Heres some ideas

Well some things you could do is speed and agility things. Outside on the street or driveway. Also do squats w/ body weight. Do push ups w/ body weight. If you have a porch...put you balls of your feet on the ledge and let your heels hang off. Then raise yuorself using your calves.(push up from using the balls of your feet*) You could do leg raises to build core. Lay on yuor back...w/ your legs striaght out. Then lift your legs up about 6 inches or so and hold there for as long as you can.

Heres a workout i would do

I would do it everyday you possibly could.

Stretch your body *check out the end of this post for stretches*
Speed and Agility --do distance. and do speed sprints. Run 20 yards and back 2-3 times. Then do that 3 times.
Sit-ups 50 reps (3 sets)
Push-ups 30 reps (4 sets)
Squats 15 reps (3 sets)
Calf Raises 20 reps (3 sets)
Leg Raises Long as you can ( 2 sets)
Stretch out your body.

Stretching---

arm circles forward. Palms down
arm circles backward. Palms up
stretch arm across body (both for 8 sec.)
stretch arm behind head (both for 8 sec.)
stretch out your hammys
stretch out your quads.
stretch out calfs by gettin in push up position then raise your but. and stretch your calves out.
Just try and stretch out every part of your body you will use.

DO THAT BEFORE AND AFTER YOU WORK OUT!
