Nike + Ipod

so i was shopping for new running sneakers and decided to go with nike shox. i have to admit im more of a new balance guy but wanted to try the nike + ipod. put a little sensor in the shoe and it links with your ipod and keeps track of distance, cals burned and all that fun stuff. speaks to you when you reach your distance and seems very accurate and a good product.

I haven't used the Nike+iPod myself, but I should mention that you don't necessarily need to buy new shoes to get this feature. Sole (which I mentioned in my thread about their shoe inserts) makes a Nike+ iPod compatible insole which makes ANY pair of shoes Nike+ iPod compatible. Bit cheaper than giving up a pair of shoes you like just for a flashy feature. I've mentioned the company in another thread, look for it.

Also, while looking into the Nike+ iPod, I found THIS interesting article...



Just a random find so I wont comment on the credibility, but it does seem plausible.

It does seem like a cool feature though.
