Night Eating

Hi everyone.
Here's my big problem: eating at night. No matter how well I do during the day, I always seem to spoil it at night. I simply cannot go to bed on an empty stomach, or I will be awake all night. I need to be "pleasantly full", which usually requires eating something sweet, or high in carbs. I've tried sugar free jello, or a light yougurt, and it doesn't do enough for me.
Seriously, I'd rather starve myself all day, then eat a loaf of white bread with peanut butter at night. Of course I get the "light bread" and reduced fat PB, but I can't seem to eat anything like this in moderation! I did so well today, then got such a bad craving for carbs and something sweet, that I ate 7 slices of bread and 1 1/2 tbsp of peanut butter! This ended up being 395 calories. I know it could be worse, but how do I refrain from doing this? If i just have one serving of something I'm never satisified! Are there any tricks you guys use when eating late night snacks? I just need calorie control. Thanks!

By the way, I'm only needing to lose 10-15 lbs, but this seems to be almost impossible for me because my body is fighting against losing weight in every way possible!

maybe try eating some fruit before you go to bed. fruit seems to satisfy my sweet tooth..i have the same problem though..i cannot go to sleep if IM hungry...my mind just keeps thinking about food because my belly is growling...iono maybe you could also try something like some baked chips i guess im not much help....i have bought these popcorn bags that are 100 cals and 3 grams of fat...i believe that pop secret makes them....they tend to help me get a little fuller and its just enough popcorn where i dont feel like i need to indulge in a whole bag...just thought i would try and help but i have the same problem...it will be interesting to see what others suggest

I agree with Sara- fruit and 100cal packs are great :) theres a ton of different 100cal things out there to, try some of those, because even if you hafta eat, this won't be a lot of calories :)
