just started out on a high protein intense workout routine. ive got the protein and workout sorted out. just wondered what sort of products are good for unsaturated fat? im in uk.also im going to workout in the evening and going to be taking whey first thing in the morning straight after workout and before bed? is beer off the menu completely?
 
first off, remember that Whey is just a nice way to get additional protein in your diet. a lotta people dont' even take a protein powder...they get it all from whole foods.

whey before bed isn't ideal. digests too fast. Cottage cheese would be excellent instead.

I'd avoid beer as much as possible: 1. it lowers testosterone and kills the anabolic state you're in from lifting and eating protein. 2. its empty calories, and if you're trying to lose fat, that's teh last thing you need is empty cals.

for unsaturated fats: natural peanut butter, almonds, salmon, tuna, fish oil, flax seed oil (or flax seeds, added to cereal/oatmeal), and sunflower seeds.

saturated fats aren't 'bad' exactly...rather, too MUCH saturated fat is bad. sat fat helps keep you anabolic.
