Hi everyone! I'm on a 100 lbs weight loss journey. I started at the beginning of April and I'm already down 6 pounds! I have been on all the fad diets and I did lose weight with them...but ended up breaking down and gaining all my weight back plus more! So I just decided to count my calories and exercise at least 60 mins a day and trying to eat as clean as possible and also cut out ALL SODA. I already have more energy and feel better about myself. I also took a before picture that I have included in this post...I can already see a difference only in the 20 days of this lifestyle. Well good luck everyone on your weight loss goals!

I am 20 stone. I joined the gym today. Although I only lasted 30 minutes on the cardio machines I felt better for it. I wanted to eat a healthy lunch when I got home. I feel that this time I have the determination and motivation to actually get back to an ideal weight. Nice to meet you on here. Wish you all the best !

Congrats and all the best to you. When it gets boring or tough just stick with it. Keep it to one day at a time. When I started my journey, soda was the first thing I cut as well. How did soda becomes such a bad habit for so many of us. It's been over 5 years since I have been a soda drinker and I am 80 lbs lighter without it. give or take now and then ;)
 
30 minutes at the gym... RESPECT. I wouldn't have lasted 30 seconds, even when I was your age. I too have a great deal of flab to shift. Best of luck to you, you certainly have come to the right forum for support
