Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie. I am also a new mother of a daughter. She was two weeks old, yesterday!! I am nursing so I have to be extremely careful about what I eat and don't eat. I need some suggestions on loosing weight, safely. I plan on nursing for 6-12 months! Please help!!!

Current Weight: 220 pounds
Short-Term Goal: 170 pounds
Long-Term Goal: 130-140 pounds
Height: 5'4"
 
welcome aboard and congrats on your precious little one! how about starting with 20 minute walks every day? that will at least give your metabolism a boost til you stop breast feeding. also start drinking a lot of water. you may retain at first but after a few days it will start flushing toxins out. what kinds of foods are you eating?
