Hello, I am a new subscriber to this site. I am a mommy of 2 little ones and hoping to get some support on the weightloss journey. I am quite frustrated with the weight I have gained with my pregnacies and basically not losing. I am staying at home with the kiddoes. A couple of years after my first child I did the La Weightloss thing and lost 60 pounds but it came back on as I got off of the program, got pregnant again and now am 2 years out from the second child's birth. So, basically back where I was before beginning La weightloss. I have just gotten my little one in a mom's day out program 2 days a week so I am hoping to get myself on the exercise routine. It has been sporadic since she was born and I am just tired from all of the chasing of 2 kids. I am basically on the try to eat healthier, less fast food, soda and junk program. and get that exercise started up again. Any help would be appreciated.

i sure know what tired feels like from chasing 3 little ones! when i started this weight loss journey my son was 4 and the twins were 3. i made the time when my husband came home from work. i would scramble to throw some dinner on and then out the door with my mp3 player with my favorite jammin music on it to get me goin. you cant let anything throw you off your routine and you have to stick with it. all i did was walk a couple miles each night and then when i got home i'd eat my dinner, a burger king salad with no fat honey mustard dressing. so thats it in a nutshell...welcome to the forum!

Hi Sandy! I'm a newbie too. Just started on late Tuesday night. If you need anyone to talk to, let me know. Any ideas on what kind of approach you are going to take? I know it must be hard to have time left for yourself after watching the kids all day, but just know that you deserve to be happy too! You can do it! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Thanks for the response. Twins? Yikes--I am barely getting thru some days with a 5 and 2 year old. More power to you. Glad to be at the site.

Hello Missjellybelly,

Thanks for responding. I am planning on the GI diet approach. I want to eat regular foods (not prepackaged diet plans) and exercise. Now, the exercise is got to get going on a more regular schedule. I hope to be able to do that now that I have the 2 year old in a mom's day out program 2 days a week.
