Newbie over here :D

Hi I'm new.
My name is Amy and I'm 15. Although most people do mistake me to be older.
Ive never been slim and had a weight problem all my life - although its nothing medical.
My parents and mainly all of my family weigh very little (lucky!!) and I'm the odd one out.
I weighed myself this morning and I'm 12st 11lbs. I'm hoping to be down to 9st 7lbs by July next year as I'm hoping to join the army.
But its not being slim thats the issue with me its the fact i also need to get fit for being in the Army.
I smoke which I'm giving up in august when i get back from my holiday. And i over eat quite allot.
Exercise is minimal and i really need to change all of this!

Cant wait to talk to more of you!

Hello! You can definitely reach your goal by next July - easily! You just have to take it a little bit at a time and make changes that you can live. You will find a lot of information and support here, as well as many people your own age. Remember, with the exercise, you just have to get started. Every little bit you do makes you stronger, and makes it that much easier the next time. Keep at it, and before you know it you will be in great shape!
