hi! i'm new here and just wanted to see if this is a community that might finally keep me motivated to lose weight. i have pretty much all of the knowledge i need, just need to keep myself accountable to someone/something so that i stick to some basics.

cw: 165
gw: 145

my goal is really just to get back to my ideal range (140-150). i have a pretty wide body frame so it's normal for me to be toward the higher end of normal, but i'm just not happy with where i'm at now.

hi! i'm planning to eat about 1500 calories per day (which is my basal - still working on the quality of the food though) and exercise an hour per day. i usually use my stationary cycle or walk. calorie restriction and exercise work pretty well for me as long as i stick to it!
 
Hi Marnie :) We're the same height and I'm currently at ~160 lbs, trying to lose a little more for vanity reasons so I say we're pretty much in the same boat. Welcome to the forum!
