Hi everyone, I am new to the site, but no new to the struggles of weight loss. I am 5'2 and weigh right around 255lbs. In 2010 I weighed 293 and I decided to have the Lap-Band procedure. While I did have success, i really only lost about 40 pounds. Since the initial weight loss, I have done the 5-10 pound yoyo. In the last 8 months I was eating more sugar and fast food than anything else. We'll as you can imagine, I felt horrible. At the beginning of 2014 I started to have more health problem, higher (that it already was) blood pressure, no energy, bloating, aches and pains and just generally felt terrible. I am already on way to many medications for my age (42) and needed a change. So recently I decided to completely cut sugar out of my diet and the only sugar I do consume is what is naturally in food. I also started to eat a more clean diet. I do not count calories or fat. What I look at is if I cannot pronounce it or have to research it on the ingredient list, I don't eat it. I am surprised at how easily this has come to me. I have already lost about 7 pounds and feel amazing. I will diary about my journey as I continue down this road. Ok, with all that said, Hi!:newbie:
