Hi guys,
I thought id join a forum for extra help maybe?
Well I've just had a second miscarriage. I have no children yet.
I suffer is polytheistic Ovaries which is more common in over weight women, but is no treatment for it and can cause miscarriages. I know that the doctor will say I need to loose weight before putting me on medication or referring me to a fertility specialist.
I need to loose 5-6 stone to be in my healthy weight range.
Any advise or any similar stories would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ash. x

Well before I could give sufficient advice I would need to know your height, type of diet you have, weight, activity level, and age.

Im 5'7, 15 . 4 stone and 23. At the moment my diet is really bad, cakes, chocolate, takeaways etc, this if im hungry usually i dont get hungry until dinner time and will snack on chocolate or crisps during the day then have a takeaway for dinner or something easy to cook like chicken drummers. (My diet was healthy while I was preg).
I dont do much activity... at all! Im planning on joining the gym with my husband when pay day is here, I joined before and got down to 13 stone but ended up giving up.
I know when i eat crap its bad and i feel guilty but its so hard to get past the cravings. I suppose now I have something to motivate more than anything! I think i comfort eat, when im sad i just go to the shop and buy everything!!

Cravings are super hard to deal with. A few tips to fight them is to get up and workout, brush your teeth, or just have a bottle of water near you all the time. I do this myself and Im a personal trainer from new york city.
You need to start simple and start eating healthier more veggies and fruits and protein at every meal. Take more walks during the day, listen to music or books while doing so. Get your activity level up.

I would personally recommend replacing your snacking foods with healthier alternatives whether that is fruit, veggies, or a healthy bar. It would be most effective if you were to carry one on your person so that you can fix your cravings right away. Next, I would recommend getting an intermediate level workout in once a week just to get acclimated to the gym. If you were to start with a gradual program that progressively revved up to help you shed those final stubborn stones it would be a fairly painless process:)

Lots of my clients start on a simple progressive increase in intensity and they have the most consistent lasting results.

Hope this finds you well!

Sincerely,

Christopher Rees
