Hi my name is Renee and I am 38 years old. I am a teacher and need to really get rid of some weight. I am about 60 pounds overweight according to the height weight charts. I have a hard time sticking to diets because I love junk food. I am trying to commit to exercising at least three days a week and to eliminate some of the junk out of my diet. I do need a lot of support to stay motivated.

Anyways....welcome to our forum! I'm glad you found us!! We will help you as much as we can!

As far as your dislike for diets (and who actually likes them anyways) I would suggest a 'lifestyle change' its where you just work on making small changes in your 'routine" not a all or nothing diet. I am on a 1200 cal. diet (meaning the way i eat, not "diet") I LOVE IT b/c I love chocolate and I can have it on this diet, i just am sure to count the cal's.

You could start a diary, we keep track of cal's /excersize and whatever you want to talk about.
